The cricut maker has 10 times the force of the other machines but that does not mean your air 2 will not be able to work with cutting your acrylic designs.

The cricut machine does not have an acrylic setting so we are experimenting a bit here.
Make a circle and resize to 3 inches.
Now it is time for the big question.
Pull the blade towards you along the line.
It will take several times to cut through.
But there are some things you need to be aware of.
Using your ruler as a guide run a plastic scoring blade along the cutting line trying to make one continuous line with gentle even pressure.
Unfortunately you can t cut acrylic with the cricut maker but acrylic engraving works perfectly.
Place the straight edge ruler where you want to cut and begin slicing holding the ruler steady as you do.
Select both just drag your mouse over them both at the same time go to align and select align horizontally.
To cut acrylic with cricut maker you must have the right blade that can cut acrylic finely.
The circut is capable of cutting materials up to 2 4 mm thick.
Place the piece of acrylic on a self healing cutting mat and line your piece up with the grid.
The nice thing about using your cricut maker is that you can design anything and have it engraved on an acrylic sheet.
